CDBOOT: COULDN´T FIND BOOTMGR Devoube. Unsubscribe from Devoube? 100% FIX #bootmgr is missing press ctrl+alt+del to restart in windows 10 8 7 - Duration: 4:45. The laptop make and model is Toshiba Satellite L355. When I insert the original Recovery CD I got the 'CDBOOT: Couldn't find BOOTMGR' message. I cannot get to the menu. Also when I try to run the windows from HDD first I can hear like a 'cyborg' talking voice from inside. But it is not happening when I try to boot it from CD.

I set the boot order to boot from the DVD drive and it keeps saying 'CDBOOT: Couldn't find BOOTMGR'? I thought the problem must be with the DVD drive but I found an old XP Pro disc and that starts installing fine although I can't install it completely as I don't have the product key. Don't understand why XP installs but Vista won't. Anyone any ideas? Thanks - fabianrothschild.
